ピースボートおりづるプロジェクト

昨年９月から今年１月にかけておこなわれたピースボート「ヒバクシャ地球一周　証言の航海」を題材にしたドキュメンタリー映画がこのほど完成しました。１０３人のヒバクシャたちと１２９日間の船旅をともにしたコスタリカの若き映画監督エリカ・バニャレロの作品です。

この第１回上映会が、来る１０月２６日（月）、ニューヨーク国連本部にて、国連総会第一委員会のサイドイベントとして行われます。（午後１：１５～　第４会議室）上映会では、エリカ・バニャレロ監督および川崎哲ピースボート共同代表の挨拶があります。

本作品は、英語版だけですが、日本でも近日中に頒布方法を発表するとともに、日本国内での上映会も計画しています。

なお、このほかにも、同じ航海を題材にした日本人監督によるドキュメンタリー映画の制作も進んでます。こちらも近日中に公開予定です。

Premiere screening of a documentary following 100 Hibakusha- atomic bomb survivors. As they travel around the world on board Japan-based NGO Peace Boat’s ship,they share their testimonies and call for a nuclear-free world with citizens and politicians globally.
